Temper and grudges

Do you tend to forgive and forget or hold grudges? What is the longest you've ever stayed angry with someone? Is there anything the other person could say or do to win back your friendship and trust?

Honestly, I'm can't stay mad long nowadays compared to when I was younger...I had a temper and was quite violent. Now it seems that I've attained some patience and some peace of mind. Although I've had some problems to face everyday that threatened to break down my shield of peace. For example, the stupid child that lives in my aunts house that will scream and cry and use her annoying high pitched voice. That kid has something against me as she always get me in trouble with the guardians even though I didn't do anything wrong.

Enough of the nuisance.

As for holding grudges...not so much now. I cannot control my own unconcious desires to rip someones head off like a barbarian. You know...like a switch you cannot control. But I suppose, over time, the feeling would go away. But I'm not sure all of my grudges will disappear just like that.

What I know and gain from my many experiences in life is that grudges are best left forgotten and life must go on for the sake of myself more than others.

Writer's Block: Another sleepless night

Do you suffer from occasional or frequent insomnia? Do you have any special tricks or remedies? How does it impact your life?

Well, that happens to me mostly when I watched a horror movie or I happen to pass by some unnatural being (like a ghost).

So, what I do is practice a technique taught in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). Although it's quite easy come to think of it, It's actually being able to control your state (emotions, etc.) but explained more scientifically and with explanation step-by-step on how to do it.

A simple exercise is going into a trance (like hypnosis). Just clear your mind and just listen to your breathing and you'll find yourself aware of your body, your heartbeat and etc. It makes you sleepy actually. To go to sleep instead of trance is your poise lax the body and let it go.

Well, there also the traditional methods like taking a glass of milk (I'm slightly lactose-intolerant so it won't work).

Exercising until you get tired physically can get you to a point of tired rest. A warm bath can make you sleepy but when you get out, you're probably awake all over again.

Putting on certain types of music can put people to sleep depending on the person (like I sleep to rock music). But NLP has explained that the many representational systems of different people affects the way they work. If a person is very auditory, they might hate/love certain noises and cause a change of state. For example, music keeps a person awake/ it can make them severely irritated (pop and meditation music irritates me awake)
Keeping warm and not sweaty is necessary to put a person to sleep. That's why people use are-conditioners and fans while wearing a blanket when going to sleep in Asia.

The environment you're in also affects your insomnia. Loud screaming children obviously keeps a person awake (but there are some who love it).

I hope that my methods are useful for the general public. XD

Writer's Block: Home Remedies

Happy birthday, J.K. Rowling! Which of her seven Harry Potter novels do you think is the most satisfying read?
I love to stay comfortable, ya know? Soak my feet in warm water with salt and devouring a crazy amount of chicken soup in an air conditioned room. XD Utter bliss....Then I'd read some fiction till I get a massive headache. Next best thing is eating ice cream and watching movies. Good movies that is...Even though ice cream's kinda bad. LOL. But sleeping's nice too...With more fluffy pillows!!!

John Barrowman singing All Out of Love

The most romantic song man....His voice is from heaven!!! Better than the other versions I reckon.

Writer's Block: I Can Relate

What fictional character do you most identify with?

The character that I can relate with is Jack Skellington from The Nightmare before Christmas.

He feels an emptiness inside and wants to look out into the world.
He's educated but misunderstood (or he's just plain confused)
  The song: Jack's Lament.

In the end, he found that he is best where he was and found love (not that I   care).

Writer's Block: Conversion Rate

Have you ever considered converting to another religion?
I don't like answering questions like this but to even consider changing religions...It's horrifying. I have. But who doesn't? It's more like, one day I was comtemplating about life and religion. I thought, it's seems easier to be in another religion because they don't need to do much. I found that my faith in god falter a second and I immediately felt immerse guilt. A feeling that crashes down right into the very depth of my soul. I realized that the religion I grew up to is the foundation of my life and I pray for god's forgiveness for that second I lost faith. I'll never do that ever again!!!

Writer's Block: Talking Ducks

Happy birthday, Donald Duck! Which cartoon character do you think is the most disturbing?
I hate you BARNEY THE FUCKING BIG, FAT, ANNOYING ABOMINATION OF A DINOSAUR!!!!

I hope you perish in the deep depths of hell!!!

Okay, rant over.

Writer's Block: Set the Scene

Empty parking garages, roadside motels, dark caves, dank basements, overgrown forests—what kind of setting makes you feel nervous?

Ugh...I would never...ever...under any circumstances, want to be trapped in a room with the guy I like (I avoid people I like). Other than that, dark and wet places in the middle of the night or rainy days. It reminds me too much of creepy, japanese horror movies. Being in a damp graveyard is no picnic either! Full of leeches...I like visiting the graveyard but not alone, dark or damp with leeches...
